Follow the restoration of this original Romany kite waggon - believed to have been built by Fuller of St Ives in 1870.

A restoration in remembrance and inspired by a very dear and close friend who sadly passed away last year from MND. I will be looking to restore this waggon over the course of 2020. I hope you will enjoy following the story of its new life and that of its fascinating past as discovered along the way.

Why am I doing this?

“My boss used to always say - the harder we work, the luckier we get". And he was right! It was this ethos he passed down to me. He was not only one of my closest and best friends but my mentor and inspiration. He introduced me to these waggons and with his continuous encouragement gave me the belief I needed and skills to restore them. So this one is for him. And hopefully, during the process, we can raise awareness and much needed funds for the MND association."
