Sanding the Waggon
Stripping the waggon has taken quite some time and at present it's mainly the exterior done. The interior has only the ceiling stripped. The windows, front doors & shutters have been removed for stripping, sanding, remedial work & painting. With most of the paint off the body now, it's time to get down to the sanding and remedial work needed. Electric sanders, sanding paper, wire brushes, glues & fillers are required plus a few extra sets of hands. Luckily my nephews came down for several days over a few weeks to help move the job along and quicken the pace. They dived into sanding the body's exterior and also the ceiling inside as well as the shutters and assisted with the window removals. A very special thanks to them for giving up their time and all their hard work - couldn't be prouder of them.
